ニューヨーク市マンハッタン区にある全米有数の大規模な大学New York University・通称NYU出身。

現在市内のSALK中学校で１年生を教えている。世界旅行、自転車、ボードゲームが趣味。

​

本年NGKにES（教学強化補助講師）として初参加。

子ども達に会えるのを、凄く楽しみにしています！

僕は世界旅行が趣味なんだけれども、日本に行くのは今回が初めて。

 

日本の子ども達は、僕が教えているニューヨークの子ども達とどんな風にちがうのだろう？

 

日本の子ども達と、様々な視点を共有したいと思っているよ！

スポーツやゲームは言語や文化を超えて通じ合えるツールだよね。

I'm so excited to meet the kids! As this is my first time traveling to Japan, I'm very excited to experience the cultural differences the kids have from my own. I look forward to learning from their perspective as I share my experiences with them. Sports and playing games are great ways to connect people of different languages and cultures. I’d like to use these tools to promote communication and cohesion of the group as well as teach lesson of team work and cooperation.

Ron Lodetti is a math teacher in New York City and he loves it. He received his B.S. in Mathematics at Pepperdine University and M.A. in Teaching of Secondary Mathematics at NYU.  Ron loves being around and learning about other people and cultures. His love for travel began when he lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina during college and has continued as he has spent the last two summers in Spain and France respectively. On a typical day, you can find Ron engaging in some of his favorite hobbies including: reading, riding his bike, playing sports, and playing board games with his friends.

 

He takes advantage of his summer vacations to explore the world. He has always dreamed of coming to Japan and is glad to be a part of this year's camp as an Educational Specialist.
